EKO Active was born from a personal journey of questioning what we put on and what we absorb every single day.

For years, I struggled with PMDD and ongoing skin issues I couldn’t explain. Because of that, I already lived a relatively healthy lifestyle and paid close attention to what I was eating and using in my home.

But it wasn’t until I became a mother and gave birth to my son that everything shifted.

I started researching bedding, clothing, fabrics and what actually touches our skin every single day. The more I learned, the more aware I became of how much synthetic material and harsh chemicals had become normalised in modern living.

And then I realised there was one thing I had completely overlooked.

The activewear I was living in every day.

When I finally checked the labels, I realised I was spending hours in polyester, nylon and synthetic fabrics treated with harsh chemicals.

And I couldn’t unsee it.

I started searching for something better. Something that felt elevated, functional and consciously made.

When I couldn’t find it, I decided to create it.

That’s how EKO Active began.

EKO Active is about redefining the activewear industry for the better, creating thoughtfully designed pieces that prioritise comfort, transparency and more mindful materials, without compromising on style or performance.

Every detail is intentional. From our cotton-rich fabrics to our elevated minimal aesthetic, EKO Active was designed for women who care about what touches their body every day.

This is more than activewear.

It’s a shift toward questioning what we’ve been told is “normal” and choosing better where we can.
